Obituary of Dana Nicholas Gallien

Peabody – Dana Nicholas Gallien 31, father of Brandon Nathaniel Gallien and fiancé of Lydia Donnelly, died unexpectedly on Saturday, August 24, 2019 following a long and hard battle with drug addiction.

Born in Lynn, he was the son of Dale S. and Doreen J. (Wood) Gallien of Peabody. He was raised in Peabody and attended Peabody Schools.

In addition to his son, parents and fiancé, he is survived by his brother Derek S. Gallien and his extended family members including his Grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephew and all of his friends many of whom he also considered his family.

Dana was a loving father, fiancé, son, brother and friend who will be missed by those who truly knew him, and remembered by all who met him.  Dana had a beautiful heart and soul that not everyone was fortunate enough to see, but for those who did, he left a lasting impression that will forever be with them.  Many times over the years Dana has said he can’t do this anymore and he tried very hard to break free from his addiction, but sadly for him and everyone that loved him he lost that battle.

Visiting hours will be held at the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, Thursday, August 29 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. followed by a service in the funeral home at 6:30 p.m. to which relatives and friends are invited to attend.
