To Michele's family,
Please accept my sincere condolences on Michele’s passing. We worked together at Lynnfield High School for many years.
Michele was one of a kind; always up, with a big smile & a kind word for everyone. There are numerous LHS students who would would have had a tough time graduating without her encouragement. I remember how many trips it would take Chuck to bring home all the holiday gifts she received.
I have so many fond memories of her. One of my favorites was her talking about one of her cruises. “I knew we were in trouble the first day, when our lifeboat captain was the fellow dressed as a clown & handing out balloons.”
Michele was so proud of her family. She always asked after my boys & even our basset hound Harriett, just like Lucy.
The world is a sadder place without her. But as Bob Cleary said, Heaven is now a happier place.
I can only imagine how incredibly difficult this must be for you. Your family & friends are here to support you. In time, when you think of her, it will not be in sadness, but will bring a smile to your face. We are all so fortunate to have had Michele in our lives.
Most sincerely,
Frances Fleming

Twenty years ago, Michele and I were talking about gardening - a subject I knew very little about. Instead of laughing at all of my naive questions, one day after school, Michele took me to Gregory’s nursery and explained all about planting and then she brought me to her house where she proceeded to help me pot tomatoes and flowers. To this day, I can’t plant anything without thinking of her.
One breezy October morning, I got into a car accident near Wakefield High School where I totaled my car and was given a ride back to LHS. When Michele saw me walking into the building, she immediately came over and enveloped me in a bear hug whispering “we heard what happened honey, are you ok?” in my ear.
Michele never missed a moment to ask me about my kids and my pets. She always looked at photograph after photograph exclaiming with glee about how much my kids had grown and how beautiful my girls were. She was always there with a kind word and a message of hope. I always thought that I was her favorite until I realized that she made everyone feel that way. She spread positivity and kindness wherever she went and both the kids and the staff at LHS were so lucky and blessed to have known her. I will miss her dearly but think of her often as I try to represent her ideals of kindness, positivity, and empathy.

When I first met Michele, she was still dating Chick. They would come over our house during the Christmas holidays and Michele would always call me her little boyfriend, of course I was only 6 years old. She would shower me with Love and Sweet words, that made me feel so special. Till this day I remember it like it was just yesterday and I'm 59yrs old. I love Michele and Chick with all my heart. Little Jimmy.

Michele was a ray of sunshine everyday that I worked with her at Lynnfield High. I had moved to Massachusetts from Virginia without friends or colleagues, and Michele was one of the people who made me feel at home here. Her smile, laugh, and constant interest in students, colleagues, and friends always made us feel welcome... those of us who were far from home or were just feeling lost. She will be missed by many. She was part of my chosen family & Ill always be grateful for her warmth and kindness.

I worked with Michelle at LHS since 1998. She was the first person I got to know and she always had something good to say, tell a story that would just make you laugh all day. All the students knew her and loved her as did anyone who knew her. She was always up for a good time and would take the time to listen if that is what you needed at that moment. It saddens me greatly that we have lost such a beautiful and caring person. I will treasure my memories and her stories forever! My heat felt condolences to her husband and her entire family.

I worked with Michele at Lynnfield High School since 1999. Michele was a wonderful and helpful colleague. I am especially recalling her kindness to me during my mother's illness and passing in 2008. She asked me everyday about her and how I was doing. She made me treats to bring to my mom and then for me following her death. Michele's memory will be a treasure to me.
