Obituary of Daniel F. Driscoll

Raymond, NH – Daniel F. Driscoll 53, formerly of Lynn, died unexpectedly on Monday, December 2, 2019 at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH.

Born and raised in Lynn, he was the son of the late Dennis B. and Ivy C. (Hoy) Driscoll. He received his education in the Lynn school system and graduated from the Lynn Technical School, class of 1984.

Dan had been employed for many years as a machinist for Q.A. Technology in Hampton, NH.

A longtime resident of New Hampshire, Dan was an avid sports fan, especially New England teams. An outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, kayaking and working on his car. He was a loving brother, uncle and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

Surviving him are his four siblings, Dennis Driscoll Jr.  and his wife, Alice of Arizona, Denis Moronie and her husband, Larry of Lynn, Darryl Driscoll and his wife, Cheryl of Lynn and Darlene Driscoll of Lynn, a niece and several nephews and great nephews. He was also the loving father of the late Caitlin Ryan who passed away four years ago to the day of Dan’s passing and was pre-deceased by his grandparents.

Visiting hours will be held at the Conway Cahill Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. followed by a service in the funeral home at 2:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the charity of one’s choice.
