Obituary of Donna Jean Kelley

Donna J. Kelley, age 66, died after a long illness on March 16, 2020. She was the daughter of the late Donald and Ruth Kelley. She was raised in Peabody and graduated from Peabody High School. Donna devoted her life to helping people. Her first job was at Pilgrim House nursing home in Peabody where she worked as a nurse’s aide for 23 years. She then worked for Shaughnessy-Kaplan Rehab in Salem for 12 years until the time of her illness. She also provided private duty in-home nursing care to allow patients to live comfortably at home. Donna has resided at the Holden Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center for several years since suffering a stroke. She is survived by her brothers, Joe and his wife Mimi, Steven and his wife Karyn, all of Peabody, Bob and his wife Kelli of Nottingham, NH, and her sister Amy Crites and her husband Kevin of Jeffersonville, IN. She was a loving aunt to Kristyn, Katie, Kolin, Abby, and Patrick. Her funeral services were private. If desired, please make a donation in Donna's name to a charity of your choosing.
