In addition to her artistic ability as a hair stylist, she had a talent for painting in all kinds of media. Tessie enjoyed traveling, especially to Cape Cod and Florida. She loved shopping and finding treasures at flea markets. She also had a beautiful singing voice. Tessie’s greatest love was always her family and she enjoyed sharing her talent of fine cooking and baking with her children and grandchildren. You would often see her grandchildren laughing along with their Yiayia as she reminisced many funny stories that she loved to share with them. Tessie’s bubbly personality, infectious smile and hearty laugh attracted the attention of everyone in her presence. She was the life of the party and always saw the lighter and brighter sides of things and had a keen sense of humor. She was known for her kindness, love, and generosity.
