To Richard, Jamison, the rest of Luke's family, and all of his friends,
I first met Luke when he was around 12. My kids and I got to spend alot of time with him for a few years. He was pure joy to be around - happy, smart, full of love and laughs. What profound sadness to lose him and that beautiful smile at such a young age.
We all take some bad turns during our life; and, one that he took was impossible for him to escape from. It didn't make him any less special than the child he was born to be. He will always be special to me and to others who loved him. Even though I know he is resting easy in God's arms now, it still hurts. I wish I could be there in person to help ease such a painful loss; but, know that my heart is there with Luke and all of you.
