Obituary of Vivianne N. Spinale

Peabody – Vivianne N. (Theriault) Spinale 92, formerly of Newburyport, wife of forty-six years to the late Charles J. Spinale, died Monday, December 28, 2020 at Sunrise at Gardner Park Senior Living in Peabody. Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ann (Pelletier) Theriault. She received her education in the Salem school system and graduated from Salem High School. As a young woman, prior to her marriage, she had been employed as a telephone operator for New England Tel & Tel in Salem. A longtime resident of Peabody, Vivianne, better known as “the best mother,” had devoted her life to raising her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who will be missed by all who knew her. Her family would like to thank the staff at Sunrise Senior Living in Peabody as well as the medical professionals at Care Dimensions in Danvers for their outstanding care. She is survived by a daughter, Susan Cranney and her husband, Brian of Peabody, three sons, Richard J. Spinale and his wife, Kim of Newburyport, Thomas J. Spinale and his wife, Diane of Peabody and John J. Spinale and his wife, Michelle of NH, thirteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, a daughter-in-law, Danell Spinale of FL and several nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Charles P. Spinale and sister of the late Lucienne Musial, Adjutor, Jerry and Ralph Theriault. ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral services will be private.
