Obituary of Konstantinos G. Karazurna

Peabody – Konstantinos G. Karazurna 74, husband of Kimberly A. (Elwell) Karazurna, died Monday, February 8, 2021 at Beverly Hospital surrounded by his family. Born in Greece, he was the son of the late George and Paraskevi (Masakos) Karazurna. He was raised in Greece and immigrated to the United States in 1971 settling in Peabody. Mr. Karazurna has owned and operated Chuck’s Restaurant in Danvers since 1988. He was also employed by US Airways for thirty years, retiring in 2001. A resident of Peabody and prior that in Middleton, Kosta enjoyed deep sea fishing, card games and working in his garden. He had a great love for animals, especially his dog, “Toby”. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Chrissy Garstin and her husband, Jacob and Nikki Karazurna, a granddaughter, Adalyn Garstin, a brother, Angelo Karazurna and his wife, Anna, nieces and nephews, George Karazurna, Jaclyn Penny and her husband, Anthony, Bradford Donovan, Christopher Donovan and his wife, Julianna, Lindsey Elwell and Jonathan Elwell, many grand nieces and grand nephews, a sister-in-law, Deborah Donovan and her husband, Kevin, a brother-in-law, William Elwell and sister-in-law, Ann Elwell. His visiting hours will be held at the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, Monday, February 15, 2021 from 3 to 5 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. All attendees are required to wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines. His funeral service will be held graveside, at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 226 North St., Salem, Tuesday, February 16th at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Northeast Animal Shelter.
