My condolences to Bev, Jeff, Jill, all your families and friends of Al. The loss of a husband, and father is very difficult especially one as loved as Al was. He was a good long time friend, and neighbor who will be missed by all who knew him. At a time like this his memories will help you get thru the tough time. May GOD bless Al and his family. Some people go through life not knowing that wonderful feeling of being truly loved. If you are lucky enough to be Al Larrabee’s wife, child, grandchild or like me, his niece, you know how it feels to be unconditionally loved and cherished. Uncle Al loved like no other. He expressed his love in words, kind gestures and his warm embrace. Whenever I saw him, he’d put his arm around my neck, give me a tight hug and kiss on the temple, and whisper “I love ya.” His embrace was always so comforting and I often felt I could feel the warmth of his soul. He meant the world to me, my mom and sisters. He was the father figure in our lives and we adored him. We will all miss him terribly, but we were so very lucky to have been loved by this amazing man. I love you Uncle Al. To Aunt Bev, Jeff, Jill, Becky, Brianna and Josh, my heart is breaking for you all. Please know that I am here if there is anything I can do.
