Herbie was one of the older cousins that grew up on 5 Lander St.in Lynn. He was street wise & always fun for me to be around. He used to let us in his bedroom to jump on his bed while Nana & Aunt O'Dessa cooked in the kitchen. While we were jumping on his bed, Herbie would sneak out of the house thru his bedroom window while we watched. (:>) He would greet me with "Little Cuz" and I called him my little "antman" because he was anything but collegiate. Later in life when I began going to clubs, Herbie would always be out and about too, and he made sure no one bothered his little cousin - ever. I loved him then, always did and always will. The world is less exciting without him in it. And I will miss him for all my days. My sincerest condolences to his children, in-laws, grandchildren and friends. Hugs.
He is also missed by my siblings, Lynn, Billy, Gina and Doug.

My sincerest condolences Pam,Jonna and Jonathan. Your dad Herbie (Riverboat, my father Joe gave him that name when your Dad was very young )was part of my family the Marsello family for as long as I care to remember. I have truly fond memories of your dad whether it be working together in Boston in the old days for John Palombo or bowling in the O’Connor’s bowling league. He also was our pitcher on the O’Connor’s softball team in the park league and local tournaments. Sincerely John Marsello

I have known Herb all my life. We grew up in the same neighborhood and saw each other occasionally walking the beach. He was a good friend back in the Brickyard Days, lots of memories. My deepest condolences to his family. Angelo Cookie Colella
