This is the goat John gave our family in the late 1960s. He was so much fun!
Friend to the Pattons
When I was about 8, I piloted my sledding toboggan directly into a tree inducing what to this day is the worst pain of my life in my wrist. John made a house call and saw me through the entire healing of that fracture. He was always there for his friends and patients. Also, around that age, I remember a convertible showed up in our driveway one day. It was John at the wheel and he had with him some of his kids and goat ridding in the back seat. We kept the goat, and he delighted us for years.

John had an uproarious sense of fun. The above was a rehearsal for a fund raising show that was the highlight of the year. John & my Dad (far rt.) have the biggest smiles!
