Obituary of Corey S. Bettencourt

Corey S. Bettencourt PEABODY—Corey S. Bettencourt, 18, beloved son of Tony and Seana (Bilodeau) Bettencourt, died Wednesday evening at Salem Hospital following injuries sustained in a car accident. Born in Salem, he was a lifelong resident of Peabody. He attended Peabody schools, graduated St. John’s School in Peabody and was in his Junior year of high school. He recently was hired at B.J. Wholesale Club in Danvers. Corey enjoyed sports, was an Outdoorsman, loved fishing and snowmobiling, and running. He was gifted with electronics and computers, as he built his own computer from scratch. His dream was to be involved in the field of technology. He enjoyed music very much. He will be dearly missed by family and many friends, including: his parents, Tony and Seana (Bilodeau) Bettencourt of Peabody; his sisters, Shannon Bettencourt and Jenessa Bettencourt of Peabody; his paternal grandparents, Anthony & Ann M. Bettencourt of Peabody; his maternal grandparents, Stephen & Madeline Bilodeau of Rotunda West, FL; his paternal great-grandmother, Rosanna Hodgdon of Peabody; seven aunts & uncles, Deborah & Robert Secrest of MI, Craig Bilodeau of CA, Michael & Bridgette Bettencourt of Peabody, and Ann & George Vernet of Topsfield, and many great-aunts & great-uncles, cousins, and friends. A visitation will be held on Monday from 4 to 8 P.M. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn ST. location, Peabody. His funeral will be held on Tuesday, gathering at 10 AM from the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 AM in St. John’s Church, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem. Memorial donations may be made to St. John’s School, 17 Chestnut St., Peabody, MA 01960.
