Obituary of Lois Jean (LeBlanc) Rossi

Lois Jean (LeBlanc) Rossi, 67, of Peabody, beloved wife of 44 years to Frank J. Rossi Jr., lost her battle to lung cancer on Friday June 29, 2007 at Mass General Hospital, Boston. She was born in Salem, the daughter of the late Ernest and Thelma (Saplin) LeBlanc and attended Peabody Schools graduating from Peabody High School in 1957 and had been a resident of Peabody all her life. She had been the parent coordinator for the Title 1 Program in the Peabody School System for several years sharing her time and talents with the students, Parents and her wonderful co-workers. She will be remembered as a loving wife and nurturing mother and a genuine friend. Family time and friendship time filled with conversation, love and cups of tea were most important to her. She will be missed by her family, her husband Frank and her three daughters and son-in-law, Sharon Rossi of Ct., Brenda Rossi of Peabody and Daria and her husband Steve Carr of West Seneca, NY, her two sisters and brother-in-law, Marguerite Brooks of NH and Thelma and Robert Prince of Arlington, MA, her brother and sister-in-law, Ernie and Betty LeBlanc of Virginia, and her brothers and sisters-in-laws, Bob and Wanda Rossi, Ralph and Norma Martin and Charlie and Anita McWha all of Peabody and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. A Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4:00 until 8: PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. Her funeral will be held on Monday at 9:00 AM from the Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Peabody/Salem line at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
