Obituary of Mary Ann Gahagan

Mary Ann Gahagan, 60, of Beverly, Ma. died unexpectedly Tuesday at her residence. She was born in Salem on August 24, 2002, The daughter of the late Joseph and Irene (Sullivan) Gahagan and had resided in Peabody most of his life before moving to Beverly 3 years ago. She attended St. John’ s Parochial School in Peabody and was active in St. John’ s Church. She had been employed for the Morgan Memorial Goodwill Industries at their downtown Peabody store for 7 years until it closed earlier this Year. She then became a clerk at T J Max store in Danvers for the past 4 months. She was active in the North Shore ARC program for many years and had participated In the Mass Special Olympics where she received many medals for her bowling Skills. She loved travelling to Bermuda and Florida. She is survived by two brothers, John E. Gahagan and Thomas M. Gahagan both Of Peabody, 2 sisters, Irene E. Brown of Centerville, Ma . and Helen L. Gahagan of Danvers, Ma., 5 nieces and 2 nephews and 4 grand nieces and 2 grand nephews and Many cousins. Her Funeral will be held on Friday at 8:00 a.m. from the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, at the 12 Chestnut St., facility, Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John’ s Church, Peabody at 9:00 a.m. Burial will be In St. Mary’ s Cemetery Salem. Visiting hours on Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. Relatives and friends kindly invited . Expressions of sympathy may be made to North Shore ARC, 64 Holten St., Danvers, Ma. 01923 in her memory.
