Obituary of Norman Richard Brown Jr.

Norman Richard Brown Jr., 45, of South Peabody, died unexpectedly Friday while working on his truck route with the Coca- Cola Company in Boston. He was born in Saugus, Ma on February 1, 1962 the son of Norman R. Sr. and Georgia S. (George) Brown of Peabody and had resided in Peabody most of his life. He was a graduate of Peabody High School in 1980 where he played on the Hockey Team and following his graduation started working for the Coca-Cola Bottling Company first at the Lynn Plant and later in Needham plant for the past 28 years. He was an avid boating enthusiast at was a member of the Liberty Street Marina in Danvers and also enjoying skiing and playing sports. He was a member of the Peabody Lodge of Elks, Chapter 1409 and the Beverage Handlers Union. His most prized treasure was help raising his son Christian and teaching him the different sports he was interested in. He was the former husband of Nadine (Berger) Brown. He is survived by his parents of Peabody, a brother, John Brown of Peabody, two sisters and a brother-in-law, Sara and Charles Cassell of Lynn, MA and Lynde Brown of Peabody, a niece and a nephew, Amy and Michael Del Core both of Lynn and a large host of friends. A Visitation will be held on Monday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
