Obituary of Carolyn A. (Blake) (Lewis) Hutchinson

Carolyn A. (Blake) (Lewis) Hutchinson, 96, of Peabody and formerly of Cape Cod and Florida, died peacefully Thursday evening at the Pilgrim Nursing Home in Peabody following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Ortin Hutchinson and the late Charles Lewis. Born in Chatham, New Brunswick, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Mary (Dick) Blake. She lived throughout the Boston Area, the South and North Shore and in Stewart, Florida, and has spent the last 15 years living in Peabody. She worked her entire career at United Laundry in Boston, retiring in 1977. She retired to Florida and was a member of the Sisters of the Nile. She also was a generous person who contributed to several charities in both Massachusetts and Florida. She is survived by several nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Mildred Girouard and Mona Miller. Her Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody Facility to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. A visitation period will be held prior to the service from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody
