Obituary of Joseph David Reardon
Joseph David Reardon, 53, of Peabody and formerly of Dorchester, died Thursday morning at his home surrounded by his family after a long illness. He was born in Boston on June 3, 1954, the son of the late Leo and Mary (Denehy) Reardon and was educated and resided in the Dorchester section of Boston most of his life before moving to Peabody.
He had been a route delivery driver for the Boston Herald for over 20 years prior to his illness. He loved baseball and had been a coach in the Dorchester Little League for many years. He also enjoyed fishing and his passion was karaoke singing.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Mario Lima of Peabody, his eight siblings, William, Peter, Michael and James Reardon and Carol
Caeran all of Boston, Mary Ellen Jordan of Millis, Ma, Janice Reardon of Florida and Patricia Conroy of Milton, his 4 grandchildren, Mariah, Tyler, Bailey and Chloe Lima all of Peabody and many relatives and friends.
A Visitation will be held on Sunday from
5:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn ST., Peabody facility. His funeral will be held on Monday at 9:00 AM from the Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Adelaide’s Church, Lowell St., West Peabody at 10:00 AM . Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody, MA. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Liver Foundation, NE Chapter, 88 Winchester St., Newton, MA 02461 in his memory.
