Obituary of Dorothy (McGeough) Croall

Dorothy (McGeough) Croall, 89, of Centre St., Danvers, died late Thursday evening at the Salem Hospital following a brief illness. She was the wife of John Croall of Melrose. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late George & Catherine (Brennan) McGeough. She had lived in the Boston area for many years and on the surrounding North Shore for the past few years. She was a devoted mother who enjoyed being with her family. Besides her husband, John, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas & Cathy Croall of East Longmeadow; 2 daughters, Judy Wilson of Bridgewater and Sandi Croall of Danvers; a sister, Theresa Carroll of Melrose; 4 grandchildren, Ian Croall of Nahant, Ryan and Jameson Croall of East Longmeadow, and Colin Carpenter of Nahant. She was the mother of the late John F. Croall. Her Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 10:00 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody Facility (978) 531-0398, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John’ s Church at 11:00 AM to which relatives and friend are invited to attend. Visitation on Sunday from 4-8 PM. Burial in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers.
