Obituary of Josephine Mary (Wozniak) Kemp

Josephine Mary (Wozniak) Kemp, 79, of West Peabody, died Thursday at the Kindred Hospital in Peabody after a brief illness. She was the wife of 50 years to Ernest Kemp. She was born in South Boston on February 26, 1928, the daughter of the late John and Francisca (Mika) Wozniak and was raised there before moving to Peabody 44 years ago. She had been a cafeteria worker with the Peabody School Dept. for 22 years prior to her retirement. She enjoyed working in her garden and traveling to special places with her husband. Surviving her besides her husband are a daughter and son-in-law, Joanne and Francis Walsh of Epsom, NH, a sister, Stella Tully of Quincy and many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 15, 2007 at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 20 Church St., Peabody facility. Her Funeral will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM from the Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Adelaide’s Church, Lowell St., West Peabody at 12 Noon. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, West Peabody. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
