Obituary of Helen J. (Pucko) Fitzpatrick
Helen J. (Pucko) Fitzpatrick, 94, ended her journey of life on Sunday July 22, 2007 surrounded by her loving family and the nurses on the third floor at Peabody Glen.
Mrs. Fitzpatrick was born on August 20, 1912 in Chelsea, daughter of the late Stanislaw and Amelia (Czavrota) Pucko. She was raised and educated in Chelsea.
Mrs. Fitzpatrick was employed as a stitcher at the cotton mills on the North Shore before leaving to raise her family. She was a woman who was loved by all that knew her and her soft gentle compassion will be missed by all that had entered into her life. As a hobby, she enjoyed sewing.
She is survived by her loving husband William H. Fitzpatrick of 65 years; her children and their spouses, John and Alice Fitzpatrick of Wakefield, Susan J. Walsh of Marathon FL and Donald R. and Kathleen Fitzpatrick of Peabody; her 9 grandchildren and their spouses, Sean and Susan Walsh of Beverly, Michael and Syd Walsh of Middleton, Megan and Katie Fitzpatrick of Peabody, Gary, John, Robert, Steven and Sandra Fitzpatrick of Wakefield and many nieces and nephews. Her siblings Walter and Steven Pucko, Stella Fox, Emily Sullo and Sophie Cambereiri pre deceased her.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday July 26, 2007 at 10 a.m. in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Salem-Peabody line. Burial of her ashes will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem. Arrangements by the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, Peabody. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Multiple Sclerosis, 170 U.S. Rte. 1, Suite 200, Falmouth, ME 04105.
