Josephine (Leo) Palmieri
PEABODYJosephine Mary (Leo) Palmieri, 81, of Peabody, loving wife of the late Achille “Archie” Palmieri, died peacefully Saturday afternoon at North Shore Medical Center/Salem Hospital with her family by her side, following a brief illness.
Born in Boston on July 31, 1925, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Di Fillipo) Leo.
She was a communicant of St. Adelaide’s Church in West Peabody, and she especially loved living life for her familychildren and grandchildren.
Josephine was the cherished mother of five loving children, Michael & Susan Palmieri, Wayne Palmieri, Gail & Tom Moran, Janet & Ken Reinold, and Gary & Cheryl Palmieri all of Peabody; she enjoyed many wonderful times with her loving 11 grandchildren Michael C. Palmieri, Marisa, Matthew, and Brittany Moran, Jennifer, Jason and Jeffrey Reinold, and Gary, Anthony, Tawny and Cally Palmieri all of Peabody; also her loving and very attentive brothers and sisters, including Teresa LeBlanc, Lou Marengi and Jane Mullins all of Salem, Anthony Leo of Amesbury, John Leo and Robert Leo, both of Lynn, and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM in ST. Adelaide’s Church, Lowell ST., Peabody, to which relatives and friends are kindly invited.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4 to 7 P.M. at the church.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
