Obituary of Richard M McLaughlin

Richard M. McLaughlin, 76 Peabody, September 11, 2002. Richard M. McLaughlin, 76, of West Peabody, died Wednesday morning at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington following a brief illness. He was the devoted husband of Agnes (Balba) McLaughlin with whom he shared 50 years of marriage. Born and raised in Somerville, he was the son of the late Richard M. & Esther (Reppetto) McLaughlin. He lived in the Somerville and Medford area before moving to Peabody 40 years ago. He was a self-employed Lumber Merchant Salesman covering the North Shore before retiring a few years ago and had served with the United States Navy during WWII. Besides his loving wife of 50 years, he is survived by 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Brian & Michele McLaughlin of Salem, and Andrew McLaughlin of Peabody; a daughter, Lisa McLaughlin of Peabody, and a granddaughter, Shawna Duffy of Peabody. His funeral service will be held on Saturday at 9:00 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody Facility , followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Adelaide’ s Church at 10:00 AM to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
