Obituary of Rose E. Linehan

Rose E. Linehan PEABODY—Rose E. Linehan, 91, died peacefully on Tuesday morning at the Pilgrim Rehabilitation and Health Center in Peabody following a brief illness. Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late John and Rose (Kane) Linehan. She lived in Lynn in her youth, and graduated from Lynn Classical High School in Lynn. Miss Linehan worked as a Secretary at General Electric in Lynn for over 40 years before her retirement. She enjoyed being at home with family and friends, and did some travel. She was grateful to journey back to Ireland to see the place of her ancestry. Surviving her are several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, John this past February, and brothers, James Linehan and Eugene Linehan, and sisters Irene Mazeikus, Louise McGee, and Mary Collins. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:30 to 11:30 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. location followed by a Funeral Mass at 12 Noon in St. Ann’s Church, Peabody, to which relatives and friends are kindly invited. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Lynn.
