Jane “Liz” Sullivan
PEABODYJane “Liz” Sullivan, 73, died peacefully in her sleep at the Pilgrim Rehab & Skilled Nursing Center in Peabody on Thursday morning following a long illness.
Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Sylvester and Genevieve (Fitzpatrick) Sullivan. She lived in Somerville as a young girl, then moved back to Salem where she graduated from Salem High School.
She first worked as an Operator with New England Telephone in Peabody. She mostly had her career as a Key Punch Operator with the Boston & Maine Railroad Boston office until taking an early retirement.
Liz enjoyed music of all kinds, dancingespecially Ballroom Dancing, the PBS Biography Stories Series, and also loved children. She was also a friend of Bill W.
Surviving her are a brother, Mark Sullivan of Salem, and many cousins and friends.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5 to 8 P.M. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 20 Church St. location, Peabody.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 8 AM from the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 A.M.in St. John’s Church, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited.
Cremation will follow after the Mass, and urn burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Peabody at a future date.
