Dear Cindy and family,
Tim was an exceptional role model and a superior educator. I wouldn't be the person I am had Tim not been so influential in my life while I was a student in his Kiley classroom. Tim's students not only mastered academic material, but also learned the importance of hard work, self respect, treating others well, being a good citizen, and having wholesome fun. I only wish that my own children had a Mr. Murphy in their lives to help shape the adults they will become.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, Cindy, and rest assured that Tim will never be forgotten.

Dear Mrs.Murphy and family,
We are very sorry to hear about your loss. Mr.Murphy was a great person to know. When my daughter Cassidy was entering kindergarten I was surprised to see who the principal of the South Memorial School was. We have many great memories of her years there with Mr.Murphy. Cassidy and her classmates were sad to see Mr.Murphy retire. They will always remember him. Our thoughts and prayers are with your entire family during this difficult time. Sincerely, Miki Kelly and family

My sister and I first met Tim when he played for my father on the St Mike's championship baseball team, many years ago. We met Tim again at the inagural PHS Hall of Fame dinner several years ago, which Tim was the catalyst in starting. It was great to see him again and we relived those days gone by. Tim was a gentleman in the true sense of the word and will be missed by all who knew him. Tim and his family are in our prayers this day.
