Obituary of Theresa "Tessie Mashak

Theresa M. “Tessie” Mashak, 88, formerly of 186 Virgo Dr., Groton, Ct., passed away on Monday, September 24, 2007 at the Groton Regency Nursing Home. Born in Malden on February 12, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Allesio and Diletta (Scenna) Navaroli. She married Clement L. Mashak on April 20, 1953 in Revere, and after 51 years of marriage, Clement died on January 3, 2005. Prior to her marriage, she worked as a seamstress in the Boston Retail District. While living in Groton, she was a longtime member of the Sunshine Bowling League. She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Lottie Moen of Wisconsin and is also survived by several nieces and nephews in Massachusetts, Wisconsin, California, Illinois, and Florida. Her funeral service will be held on Friday at 8:00 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, Facility, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00 AM at St. John’s Church, Peabody. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
