Obituary of Stanley B. Swiderski, Jr.
Stanley B, Swiderski, Jr., 94, of Peabody, husband of the late Ida (Espinola) Swiderski, died on Tuesday October 16, 2007 at the Pilgrim Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center, Peabody.
Mr. Swiderski was born on February 17, 1913 in South River, New Jersey son of the late Stanislaus B. and Antonina (Daniszewski) Swiderski. He was raised and educated in New Jersey moving to Peabody in 1948.
Mr. Swiderski was employed for 30 years as a maintenance mechanic at Matz Tanning in Peabody until his retirement in 1978. He devoted his life to his family and as hobbies he loved planting and caring for his vegetable garden and woodworking.
He is survived by his children and their spouses, Stanley W. and Gail Swiderski of East Meadow NY, Janet and Louis Tomasovic of Port St. Lucie FL, Kathleen and Albert Caron of Georgetown and Alice and Jeffrey Currie of Quincy; 4 sisters, Mary Symanski of South River NJ, Wanda Zamaick of Arlington, Helen Lackowitz of Peabody, Rose Cassese and her husband Mike of Danvers; 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. His siblings Alice Cassese, Alexander, Edward, Albert and Alphonse Swiderski pre deceased him.
A private service will be held. Arrangements by the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, Peabody.
