Obituary of Edward John Vienneau

Edward J. Vienneau, 71, died Wednesday afternoon at the Sunbridge Care and Rehab of Beverly following a long illness. He was the devoted husband of Margaret (Budka)(Morin) Vienneau and the former husband of Virginia Vienneau of New Hampshire. Born in Boston on January 11, 1931, he was the son of the late Edward J. & Ella (Melanson) Vienneau. He had lived on the North Shore for many years and later moved to Texas and have spent the last 8 years living in Peabody. He was a veteran of the United States Army for over 20 years and had served in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He also was a member of the Mason Lodge of Danvers. Besides his loving wife, he is survived by 5 sons and 3 daughters-in-laws, Dennis & Joanna Vienneau of Ossipee, NH, Norman & Linda Vienneau of Peabody, Edward R. & Kathy Vienneau of Groveland, Glenn Vienneau of Nevada, and David Vienneau of California; 2 Stepdaughters, Alice Morin of Canyon Lake, Texas, and Dianne Goel and her husband Dan of Sequim, Texas; 2 brothers and a sister-in-law, Robert Vienneau of Revere, and James & Lois Vienneau of Newfield, NH; a sister, Arlene Murphy of Magnolia; 7 grandchildren and one stepgranddaughter, and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Richard Vienneau and Lorraine Dexter. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2002 at 8:00 PM. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody Facility (978) 531-0398. A Visitation will be held prior to the service from 6-8 PM. to which relatives and friends are invited to attend.
