Obituary of Marjorie L. (McCabe) McLernon

Marjorie L. (LeFave) McLernon, 81, of Peabody, wife of the late Richard J. McLernon, died Tuesday at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. Mrs. McLernon was born on April 11, 1926 in Stoneham daughter of the late Bernard and Margaret (McCabe) LeFave. She was raised in Lynn and graduated from Lynn English High School Class of 1943. She resided in Lynn before moving to Peabody in 1962. Following her High School graduation, Mrs. McLernon worked as a solderer at General Electric in Lynn during WWII. Prior to her retirement in 2000, she was employed for 25 years as a secretary / bookkeeper at Andy’s Seafood in Saugus. Mrs. McLernon is survived by her 3 sons and their spouses, Richard P. McLernon, James W. and Barbara F. McLernon all of Peabody and Robert J. and Debra A. McLernon of Lynn; 2 sisters and their spouses, Barbara and Gerald Richards of Sanbornville NH, Carol and Walter Youngstead of Peabody; a brother, Bernard LeFave of CO; 7 grandchildren, Richard McLernon and Crystal McLernon, James McLernon and Michael McLernon all of Peabody, Robert McLernon, Samantha Sullivan and Kara Sullivan all of Lynn and several nieces and nephews. Her brother Stanley “Sonny” LeFave predeceased her. Her funeral will be held on Saturday November 10, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., (new location) Peabody. Relatives and friends may pay their respects Saturday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn.
