Obituary of Priscilla M. (WIlkins) (Leonard) Foss
Mrs. Priscilla Mildred (Wilkins) (Leonard) Foss, 85, of Peabody and formerly of Beverly and Danvers, died Wednesday evening at the Pilgrim House Nursing Home in Peabody following a short illness. She had been the former wife of the late George Leonard and later David Foss.
She was born in Salem on May 3, 1922, the daughter of the late Roger and Mildred (Christianson) Wilkins and was raised and educated in Beverly. She later resided in Danvers for many years before moving to Peabody 3 years ago.
She was first employed at the Bomac Industries in Beverly for 15 years and later became a purchasing agent at the Morton - Thiokol Company in Danvers for another 15 years prior to her retirement.
She enjoyed traveling, cooking and playing golf but especially cherished taking care of her grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Lynne Leonard of Peabody and Jeffrey and Cherilyn Foss of Ashford, N.H, a daughter, Jane Woftol of Racine, Wisconsin, a sister, Louise Burkinshaw of Noonan, GA, her seven grandchildren, Mark and his wife Colleen Leonard and Debbie and her husband Bill Edmonds all of Peabody, Stephen, Eddie and Eric Amor all of Danvers, Matthew Crisafi of Beverly and Chris Foss of NH, twelve great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Ralph Wilkins.
A Visitation will be held on Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn ST., Peabody facility. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. There will be a family Burial on Tuesday in Oakdale Cemetery, Middleton. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Childrens Wish Foundation, 8615 Roswell Road, Atlanta GA. 30350 in her memory.
