Obituary of Catherine M. (Economakos) Bois

Catherine M. (Economakos) Bois PEABODY Catherine M. (Economakos) Bois, 73, beloved wife of the late Charles J. Bois, died unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon at the Salem Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Steven T. and Mary G. (Connolly) Economakos. She lived there in her youth and attended Cambridge schools. She lived in Cambridge for many years, then in Malden for 30 years, and lived in Peabody for the last 14 years. She worked as a Machine Operator in the sewing area for B.F. Goodrich Company for 25 years, then was an Administrative Assistant with Polaroid Corporation in Cambridge for 25 years before her retirement. Mrs. Bois enjoyed her role as homemaker and especially caregiver, which she was known with her husband through his illness, as well as other family, was an avid shop until you drop shopper, liked music, and a devoted, faithful communicant at St. Adelaide’ s Church in West Peabody. She is survived by: two daughters and sons-in-law, Gwen & Robert Habelman of Peabody and Catherine Cathy & Brian Sullivan of Billerica; two grandchildren, Nicholas Habelman and Courtney Habelman both of Peabody, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles J. Bois, a brother Thomas Economakos and sister Sarah Economakos. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend her Funeral, which will be held on Monday at 9 AM from Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St location, Peabody, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM in St. Adelaide’ s Church, Peabody. A visitation will be on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Memorial donations may be made to the North Shore Cancer Center, 17 Centennial Dr., Peabody, MA 01960
