Obituary of Graciela (Pacheco) Espinal

Graciela (Pacheco) Espinal PEABODY—Graciela (Pacheco) Espinal, 74, beloved wife of the late Carlos Espinal, died Tuesday morning at the Shaughnessy-Kaplan Rehabilitation Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Loma de Cabreria in the Dominican Republic, she was the daughter of the late Gollin and Betilia (Alberto) Pacheco. She lived there in her youth, and emigrated to the United States. She lived in the North Shore and Peabody area for over 30 years. Mrs. Espinal enjoyed nurturing her family, and loved gathering together at home. She will be remembered for her sweet and gentle ways and instilling values for her children and grandchildren to live. She is survived by: eight sons, Jose Espinal of Peabody, Jacinto Espinal of Salem, Raphael Espinal of Lynn, Nolis Espinal of Peabody, Juan Espinal, Carlos Espinal, and Jose Manuel Espinal all of Tampa, FL, and David Espinal of Salem.two daughters Elsa Plasencio and Maria Perez both of Salem; 38 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers and five sisters in the Dominican Republic, and many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Friday from 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 P.M. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. location, Peabody. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, gathering at 10 AM in the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 AM in St. John’s Church, Peabody, to which relatives and friends are kindly invited. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
