James R. Mills
Peabody--James R. Mills, 85, beloved husband of the late Josephine (Caico) Mills, died Tuesday afternoon at the West Roxbury Veterans Hospital following a brief illness.
Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Irving and Margaret (Murphy) Mills. He lived there for many years, and lived in Peabody for over 30 years.
James was a veteran of World War II, with service in the United States Army.
He worked as a Vinyl Siding Installer with Quality Industries in Brighton for several years.
He was a member of the Saugus VFW, and enjoyed local sports teams.
He is survived by: a son, Joseph R. Mills of Peabody; he leaves several nieces, nephews, and a sister-in-law Sharon Caico of Lynnfield.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 11 AM in St. Adelaide’s Church, Peabody, to which relatives and friends are kindly invited.
Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
