Obituary of Craig Klocker

Craig Klocker, 64 years, of Marblehead, husband of Dotty E. (Risteen) Klocker died Tuesday Sept. 24, 2002 with his family at his side. Born in Waterbury, CT on Oct. 10, 1937, he was the son of the late Frederick and Helen (Underhill) Klocker. A resident of Marblehead for the past 43 years he was raised in Thomaston, CT and graduated from Thomaston High School class of 1955. He furthered his education at Babson College School of Management in Wellesley, MA where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration in 1958. Mr. Klocker began his distinguished business career with Balco in Medford followed by many years as a business owner, executive, entrepreneur and most recently was the Marketing Director for the Lofty Oaks Association in Bethlehem, NH until his retirement. His family and friends were the joys of his life. He enjoyed spending time in his home on the ocean and vacations in the Florida Keys. His interests included automobiles, specifically Porshe 914 and collecting mini replica cars and antiques. He was also very actively involved in the Babson College Alumni Association and was the Babson Annual Fund Chairman from 1979 to 1982. In addition to his beloved wife, he is the father and father-in-law of Kim and Jacques Belanger of Dunbarton, NH, Scott and Kelly Klocker of Windham, NH; brother of Brenda Draghi of Ellington, CT; son-in-law of Donald and Edna Risteen of Marblehead; brother-in-law of Don and Mary Risteen of Cocoa Beach, FL; grandfather of Jeremy, Taylor and Paige Belanger and Allison and Dylan Klocker; uncle of Vickie, Ryan, Shawn and Dane Risteen, Chuck, Robert and Christopher Draghi and Robin Paseka. The Klocker family will receive relatives and friends Saturday at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 20 Church St., Peabody location from 2 to 5 p.m. A memorial service will be held at the Old North Congregational Church, 41 Washington St.,Marblehead, Saturday, Oct. 19, 2002 at 3 p.m. followed by a celebration of life reception to which relatives and friends are invited.
