Obituary of Stella M. (Letusky) Lazdowski

Stella M. (Letusky) Lazdowski, 81, of Peabody, wife of the late Boleslaus Lazdowski, died Friday afternoon at the Shaughnessy Kaplan Rehabilitation Center in Salem following a brief illness. Mrs. Lazdowski was born on September 23, 1926 in Salem daughter of the late Alexanda and Sally (Jordan) Letusky. She was raised and educated in Peabody and was a resident for most of life. Following her husband’s retirement they resided in Florida for 8 years before returning to Peabody. Mrs. Lazdowski was employed for 10 years at the former A.C. Lawrence Leather Company in Peabody. As a hobby, she enjoyed playing beano. She is survived by her children and their spouses, William P. and Maria Lazdowski, Sally Ann Lazdowski all of Peabody, Robert S. and Holiday Lazdowski of Ft. Lauderdale FL and Charles J. “Chuck” and Carolyn Lazdowski of Newton NH; her beloved godchild, Kay Leet of Amesbury; her grandchildren, Billy and Holly Lazdowski of Danvers, Brandy Rafael, Robert Lazdowski both of FL and Derek Lazdowski of NH; 3 great grandchildren, Madelyn, Amber and Megan and several nieces and nephews. Her siblings Bill, Walter, Gerry, Bro, Doris, Betty and Kay predeceased her. Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 8:00 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. (new facility) Peabody followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Church, 16 Church St., Peabody. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
