Obituary of Myrtle (Mulley) Savard

Myrtle (Mulley) Savard, 90, of Peabody, died early Monday morning at the Kindred Hospital in Peabody following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Paul H. Savard. Born in Revere, she was the daughter of the late Pleaman and Susannah (Murray) Mulley. She was raised and educated in Revere and was a graduate of Revere High School. Upon marrying her husband, she moved to Everett where she lived for many years, and she has spent the last 44 years living in Peabody. She worked for the city of Boston for over 25 years as a clerk, retiring many years ago. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, playing bingo and was an avid Patriot and Red Sox fan. Family was important to Myrtle and she had a strong constitution which helped her in supporting and nurturing her family. She is survived by three loving daughters, Joanne DeBole of West Palm Beach, Fla., Pauline Merry Buzberewicz of Highland Springs, VA, and Carol Pepper of Middleton, seven grandchildren, Paul and Leo DeBole, Marianne Terrizzi, Susanne Pepper Earl, Dean Pepper, David Merry Jr., and Kristen Lanzo, and is also survived by nine great grandchildren with one more expected and by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was the mother-in-law of the late Salvatore DeBole and Robert Pepper and sister of the late Bill and Herb Mulley and Ann Merriman, Dorothy Duffy, and Ethel and Lucy Mulley. Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 9:45 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, Facility to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours are on Thursday from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701
