Obituary of Kevin M. Sierra

Kevin M. Sierra, 48, of Peabody, died Friday afternoon at Salem Hospital following a brief illness. He was the former husband of Suzanne (Thibodeau) Sierra of Peabody. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Eloy and Eleanor (Sweeney) Sierra. He was raised and educated in Peabody and later attended ATI in Woburn. Kevin was considered a computer genius and worked in the computer field for the past 25 years, with the last year at Computron Inc in Beverly as a technician. He also was a “jack of all trades” type who enjoyed electronics, cooking, and tinkering with cars. Kevin was also a sports fan and an avid supporter of the Red Sox and Patriots. He had a dry sense of humor, was very much a family man and was the “best dad in the world” according to his children. He is survived by his loving children, Michael P. Sierra and Joelle M. Sierra, both of Peabody, he also was the devoted and loving brother of James Sierra of Weymouth, Brian Sierra of Raymond, NH, Steven Sierra of Salem, Deborah Sierra-Erwin of Peabody and to ten other half brothers and sisters, and also survived by many nieces and nephews. His funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody Facility, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM in St. Agnes Church, Middleton, to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
