Obituary of Ann (Gillie) Noseworthy
Ann (Gillie) Noseworthy, 75, died unexpectedly at her daughter’s home in Beverly on Tuesday morning January 8, 2008, following a brief illness.
Born in Gloucester, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Deloria (Woodworth) Gillie. She lived in Gloucester for most of her life, and graduated from Gloucester High School. She also graduated from the Addison-Gilbert Hospital School of Nursing. She moved to Peabody where she lived for the last 10 years.
Mrs. Noseworthy was a Licensed Practical Nurse who worked in healthcare for many years. She was employed with Addison-Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester for many years, and also served at Beverly Hospital and for several Nursing Homes and Skilled Nursing Rehab Centers throughout the North Shore.
Ann enjoyed musical theater and subscribed to seasons tickets with the North Shore Music Theater in Beverly. She loved gatherings of friends and family where she delighted in sharing her baked goods. She also enjoyed sewing and making clothes for her family.
She will be dearly missed by her friends and family, including: three sons and daughters-in-law, Dan & Amy Noseworthy of Peabody, Mark & Tery Noseworthy of Gloucester, and Adam & Jen Noseworthy of Northboro, MA; four daughters and a son-in-law, Roberta “Bert” Karpinski of Beverly, Laurie Noseworthy of Methuen, Sara Noseworthy of Northampton, MA and Mary Beth & Paul Lundeen of Fergus Falls, MN; seven grandchildren, Hannah Noseworthy of Northampton, David, Rachel, and Christopher Noseworthy of Peabody, Amanda Lundeen of Fergus Falls, MN, and Skylar and Hunter Noseworthy of Northboro, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers Ralph E. Gillie and William B. Gillie, and a sister Mary Ellen Guiney, and a son-in-law, David Karpinski.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a gathering visitation on Saturday January 12 from 12 Noon to 3 P.M. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody Facility from 12:00 PM Noon until 3:00 PM. A private family funeral service will be held at a later date. Cremation Service planned with Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home.
