Obituary of Alice M. (Muise) Kardenetz

Alice M. (Muise) Kardenetz, 78, wife of Walter Kardenetz of Beverly, died on Monday February 4, 2008 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers with her family at her side. Mrs. Kardenetz was born on August 7, 1929, in Peabody, daughter of the late George and Sarah Anna (Cunha) Muise. She was raised in Peabody and graduated from Peabody High School Class of 1948. She resided in Peabody before moving to Beverly in 1960. Mrs. Kardenetz was a homemaker who devoted her entire life to her family and later to her 10 grandchildren. She and her husband were lifelong members of the Shin Diggers and Riverside Squares both in Danvers. She loved the outdoors, nature and enjoyed camping for years at the White Lake State Park Campground in NH. In addition to her husband whom she shared 56 years of marriage, she is survived by her children and their spouses, Marty and Debra Kardenetz of Billerica, Heidi L. Kardenetz of Beverly, Scott W. and Anne Kardenetz of Nashville TN and Wendy M. and Terry Daigle of Lynn; 2 brothers, Sarafine Perry of Danvers, Daniel Muise of Peabody, 2 sisters, Florence Kipouras of Beverly and Frances McLaughlin of Peabody; 10 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Her siblings George R. Muise, John R. Perry and Larry R. Muise predeceased her. Her funeral will be held on Friday February 8, 2008 at 10 a.m. from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 20 Church St., (downtown facility) Peabody followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church, 16 Church St., Peabody. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours Thursday 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 p.m. Cremation will follow the services.
