Obituary of Donna May (Hover) Willett

Donna May (Hover) Willett, wife of the late John Willett and daughter of the late Jim and Barbara (Appleby ) Hover, died peacefully surrounded by family on Monday February 11, 2008 in Ipswich, MA. She was born on April 10, 1943 in Medford, MA. She graduated from Everett High School in 1961. She moved from Medford to Peabody in 1962 and lived in West Peabody for forty years and then moved to Ipswich two years ago to live with her daughter Barbra. She summered in Boothbay Harbor, Maine where she belonged to the Boothbay Harbor Sailing Club. She retired from Hogan Regional Hospital in 2005 after 18 years as a rehabilitation manager. She thought of her many friends and the clients there as her second family. She enjoyed traveling with her family. She was devoted to her family and will be dearly missed by many friends. She was a long time member of the West Congregational Church in Peabody. Donna is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Nelson and her husband Ted of Topsfield, MA and Barbra DelVecchio and her husband Matt of Ipswich MA a son Steven King and his wife Dr. Karie DeVries of Weston, MA. Her sister Carol Angelo and her husband John live in North Reading, MA. She is also leaves five grandchildren, Ted, Andrew and William Nelson, Julian DelVecchio and Joseph King. Her funeral will be held on Thursday at the West Congregational Church, 27 Johnson St. Peabody at 10:00 A M to which friends and relatives are kindly invited. A visitation will be held on Wednesday at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St .location from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. Burial will be at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations in her name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701
