Obituary of Sebastian J. Indorato

Sebastian J. "Sib" Indorato, 82 years, husband of Lucille M. "Lu" (Falzarano) Indorato of Peabody died Monday at the Union Hospital in Lynn after being stricken at his home. Mr. Indorato was born Jan. 10, 1920 in Boston son of the late Salvatore and Josephine (Vitale) Indorato. He was raised in East Boston and graduated from East Boston High School class of 1938. During WWII he served in the United States Navy as a Baker 3rd Class aboard the U.S.S. Baldwin and the U.S.S. Bexar in the Asiatic and Pacific Theaters. He was employed for 40 years as a union brick mason working for several companies in the Boston area. Prior to make his home in Peabody in 1952 he had resided in Everett for a few years. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a member of the American Legion in Boston. In addition to his wife of 52 years, he is survived by a daughter, Elaine A. Peterson of Niceville, FL; a brother, Louie Indorato of Melrose; two sisters, Sally Ciampa and Ann Della Russo both of FL; two grandsons, Jason and Craig Sousa both of Niceville, FL and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Angela Gioiosa, James and Alfred Indorato. His funeral will be held Friday at 8 a.m. from the Cahill-Brodeur facility at 20 Church St., Peabody 978-531-0472 of the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, Peabody followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in St. Ann Church, Peabody. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours Thursday 5 - 8 p.m. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
