Obituary of Mary G. (Lucey) Arnold

Mary G. (Lucey) Arnold, of Peabody, 93 years, wife of the late James E. Arnold died Thursday morning at the Pilgrim Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Peabody. Mrs. Arnold was born January 4, 1909 in Peabody daughter of the late John P. and Mary B. (Flynn) Lucey. She was raised and educated in Peabody graduating from St. John’ s Girls High School class of 1927 and had been a lifelong resident. She was a communicant at St. John the Baptist Church and was a member of St. John’ s Ladies Sodality. She is survived by a brother, Leonard V. Lucey of Peabody; 9 nieces and nephews, Richard Russell, Joseph Russell, Leonard Russell, John Jack Russell, Thomas Russell, Phyllis Carlson and Suzanne Sandler all of Peabody, Dr. Richard Polisson and Patricia Polisson both of Swampscott. She was predeceased by seven brothers and sisters. Her funeral will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. from the Cahill-Brodeur facility at 20 Church St., Peabody (978-531-0472) of the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church, Peabody. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours Friday 5 to 8 p.m. Burial in St. Mary’ s Cemetery, Salem.
