Obituary of Everett L. "Ken" Kennison

Everett Linton Ken Kennison, 77, of Peabody died Tuesday at the Pilgrim House Nursing Home, Peabody after a brief illness. He Was the husband of Louise E. (Somers) Kennison with whom he shared 51 years Of marriage. He was born and raised in Waterville, Maine, the son of the late Linton H. and Leona (Prince) Kennison and had resided in Peabody for the past 40 years. He was a graduate of Burdette School of accounting and Bentley College in Waltham. He was first employed as an accountant at Gentile Baking Co., Mattapan and later at the American Cleaning Co., Cambridge as an office manager. He then became a tax accountant at the Scudder, Stevens and Clark Co., Boston for 21 years. Following his retirement, he worked part time at the Fudiciary Trust Co. of Boston for 4 years. He was a veteran of W W 11 serving as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army in the Pacific Theatre Operation and was a member of the V.F. W. Post 1011 of Peabody. He enjoyed travelling, studying the Stock Market and being with his grandchildren. Besides his wife, he is survivied by 4 sons and a daughter-in-law, of James and Robin Kennison of Lynn, Richard and David Kennison of Peabody and Everett L. Kennison Jr. of Derry, N.H., a daughter Kim Brooks of Salem, 7 grandchildren and many nieces And nephews. A Funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.M. at The Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 20 Church St., Peabody facility. A Visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. Relatives and friends are Kindly invited.
