Obituary of Jean C. (Trudell) Kimball

Jean C. Kimball, 77, of Hampstead, NH, and formerly of Peabody and Lynn, died early Sunday morning at her home following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Harold J. Kimball, Jr. Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Edmond and Ruth B. (Huntoon) Trudell. She was raised and educated in Lynn, attended Lynn Public Schools and was a graduate of Lynn English High School, class of 1945. She later lived in Peabody for 28 years and has spent the last 26 years living in Hampstead, New Hampshire. Prior to her retirement, she worked for over 20 years as a cashier for the Stop and Shop at the Lynn Gate Plaza in Lynn. While living in New Hampshire, she worked part time for the Rockingham County Newspaper as a collator. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Harold and Jean L. Kimball of Tavares, Fla., Thomas and Claudia Kimball of Peabody, and Daniel and Paula Kimball of Hampstead, NH; a sister, Barbara Dondero of Taunton; 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody Facility, to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation on Wednesday from 4 until 8 PM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
