Obituary of Robert Edward Cole
Robert Edward Cole, 66, of Peabody, died Tuesday morning at the
Union Hospital, Lynn after a long illness.
He was born and raised in Danvers,
The son of the late Ralph and Grace (Alley) Cole and later moved to Salem and
Was a graduate of the Salem Vocational High School in 1957.
He then entered the U.S. Coast Guard where he served for 4 years prior to his
Discharge in 1961.
He had been a machinist at various North Shore machine
Shops for over 20 years prior to a disability discharge in 1989.
He is survived by a son, Michael Cole of North Attleboro, Ma., 2 daughters
Dr. Robin Paddock of Houston, Tx. and Laura Rowe of the North Shore; 7
Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was the former husband of
Claire (Legere) Cole and the brother of the late Richard Cole.
A funeral Service will be held on Thursday
Evening at 8:00 P.M. at the Conway, Cahill- Brodeur Funeral Home at the
12 Chestnut St., Peabody facility. Visitation will be held form 6:00 - 8:00 P.M, prior to the Service. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
