Obituary of Barbara M. (Finnegan) Crocker
Barbara M. (Finnegan) Crocker, 85, of Danvers and formerly of Rochester, NH, died Sunday evening at the Atrium Nursing Home in Danvers following a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard Crocker.
Born in Peabody, She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Catherine (Graham) Finnegan. She was raised and educated in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody High School, class of 1939.
Barbara was a family oriented woman who enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed traveling, listening to music and loved playing cards, bingo and gambling at Foxwood’s Casinos.
She is survived by two sisters, Marion Finnegan and Anna Kenny, both of Peabody, a brother-in-law, Jim Crocker of Peabody, two grandchildren, Susan Chick of Danvers, and Ryan Hughes of Peabody, and two great grandchildren, Stephen and Allen Pierce of Danvers. She was the mother of the late Jacqueline Hughes and sister of the late Margaret Wentzel.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody Facility to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial in Swampscott Cemetery, Swampscott
