Obituary of Lillian J. (Boumil) Piekarski

Lillian J. (Boumil) Piekarski PEABODY—Lillian J. Piekarski, 80, beloved wife of the late Victor Witulad Piekarski, died unexpectedly on Sunday morning at her home after a brief illness. Born in Lowell, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Eva (Blazuke) Boumil. She lived in Lowell for nearly 30 years, and attended Lowell schools. She graduated from Lowell Central High School, and then graduated from Essex Aggie Nursing School. She lived in Lynn for 20 years, and then lived the last 31 years in Peabody. Mrs. Piekarski was a Licensed Practical Nurse who worked at Lynn Hospital and Lynn Union Hospital before retiring. Lillian enjoyed living her life in simplicity, and was content being with her family. She cherished her grandchildren. She will be missed by her family, including: a son, Victor C. Piekarski of New Durham, NH; two daughters, Linda Philcrantz of Hudson, NH and Dianne Doyle of Williamantic, CT; five grandchildren, Amy Branco of NH, Lauren Exnicios of Alexandria, VA, Christopher Doyle of Williamantic, CT, Brian Philcrantz of Londonderry, NH, and Scott Doyle of Williamantic, CT; one great-grandson, Matthew Branco of NH; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death, besides her husband and parents, by a brother Simon Boumil. Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 9 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. location, Peabody, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM in St. Ann’s Church, Peabody, to which relatives and friends are kindly invited.
