Obituary of Anna (Dotolo) Backman

Anna (Dotolo) Backman PEABODY?Anna (Dotolo) Backman, beloved wife of the late Henry J. Backman, died Tuesday at the North Shore Medical Center?Salem Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Carman and Frances (Palumbo) Dotolo. She lived in Malden for most of her life, and lived at Brooksby Village in Peabody for the last three years. Mrs. Backman was a Hostess at the Bisuteki Japanese Steak House in Revere for over 28 years. She is survived by: a loving sister, of Ida DiLorenzo of Peabody; a brother-in-law Anthony Micalizzi. She is survived by several nieces & nephews, Marie & Walter Coyle, Anthony & Rosemarie DiLorenzo, Louis & Jan DiLorenzo, Sandra DiLorenzo, Frances & Nicholas Saio, Joseph & Mary Micalizzi, Toni Ann Micalizzi, Jean Fox, Joseph Dotolo, Jr., Juliette Mandolese, Richard Dotolo, Maureen & Dr. Charles Lynch, in addition to other nieces & nephews, a dear life-long friend Ann Mitchell, and loving friends at Brooksby Village in Peabody. She was preceded in death by brothers James and Joseph Dotolo, and sisters Katherine Ventula, Sue Chan, and Jean Micalizzi. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Funeral Service on Friday, April 4, 2008 at 11 AM in the Brooksby Village Chapel.Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden
