Obituary of Kevin R. Duncan
Kevin R. Duncan, 43, of Salem, died early Friday morning at Salem Hospital as results of injuries sustained in automobile accident earlier that morning.
Born in Lynn, he was the son of Helen (Costigan) Duncan of Danvers, and the late Albert Duncan. He was a lifelong resident of Salem and was a graduate of Shawsheen Technical School in Tewksbury.
Kevin was an installer and hardwood floor finisher for over 20 years with the last four years working for Saulnier Floors in Swampscott. He enjoyed tinkering with cars and other motor equipment, and also was an outdoor enthusiast.
Besides his loving mother, he is survived by a daughter, Katelyn Colby of Gloucester, a brother and sister-in-law, Michael Babin and his wife Lisa Masella of Danvers, and a sister and brother-in-law, Joanne and Terry Gallant of Peabody.
His funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 9:00 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in St. James Church, Salem to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM.
