Obituary of Gary P. DePrisco

Gary P. DePrisco, 43, beloved husband of Lisa (Fraser) DePrisco of Lynn, died suddenly at his home on Tuesday evening. Born in Middletown, CT, he was the son of the late Charles and Mary B. (Stillson) (Paynotta) DePrisco. He was raised and educated in Beverly and has been living throughout the North Shore for several years. Mr. DePrisco was self-employed installing floors and carpeting. He was an accomplished athlete, attained the level of Black Belt in Karate, specializing in Kick Boxing. He was the North American Heavyweight Champion in 1992 and World Heavyweight Champion in 1993. He also enjoyed music and playing guitar. He will be missed by his family, including his wife, Lisa (Fraser) DePrisco of Lynn, a son, Vinny DePrisco of Lynn; two daughters, Nicole DePrisco of Beverly and Melissa DePrisco of Lynn, a brother and sister-in-law, Michael & Elaine DePrisco of Peabody, and several friends around the area. His Funeral Ceremony will be held on Monday at 11 AM in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut ST. location, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. A visitation will be held on Sunday from 4 to 7 P.M. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
